Biography
William John Paul Gallagher is an English singer and songwriter who is the lead singer and co-founder of the rock band Oasis. Gallagher fronted Beady Eye, an offshoot of Oasis, between 2009 and 2014, before starting a solo career in 2017. One of the most recognisable figures in British rock music, he is noted for his distinctive vocal style and outspoken personality.

Born William John Paul Gallagher in Longsight, Manchester. Youngest of three brothers. His father was abusive. His mother Peggy raised the boys largely alone after the family split.
Oasis released Definitely Maybe. It became the fastest-selling debut album in UK history at the time. Liam's brother Noel wrote the songs. Liam sang them like he was picking a fight with the microphone.
(What's the Story) Morning Glory? topped charts worldwide. "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger" became generational anthems. The album has sold over 22 million copies. Britpop had a face. Two faces, actually, and they were brothers who couldn't stop arguing.
Noel quit Oasis after a backstage fight in Paris. Fifteen years, seven albums, done. Liam formed Beady Eye with the remaining members. They released two albums before disbanding in 2014.
Released his solo debut As You Were. It debuted at No. 1 in the UK with 103,000 first-week sales. Q magazine readers had voted him the greatest frontman of all time in 2010. He kept going.
