Biography
Uday Saddam Hussein was an Iraqi politician, militia leader, and businessman. He was the eldest son of Iraqi president Saddam Hussein and his first wife Sajida Talfah, and was known for his excessive cruelty, erratic behavior, and human rights abuses, which included torture, rape, and murder.

Bludgeoned his father's favorite bodyguard to death at a party with a club. Saddam briefly imprisoned him for it. Uday also ran the Iraqi Olympic Committee, where athletes who lost were tortured in a basement prison.
Severely wounded in an assassination attempt. Gunmen hit him with eight bullets. Left partially paralyzed and walking with difficulty. His father shifted succession to his younger brother Qusay, who was more discreet.
Killed alongside his brother Qusay and 14-year-old nephew Mustapha in a firefight with U.S. forces in Mosul. The battle lasted four hours. American troops used TOW missiles and Mark 19 grenade launchers.
